Calliope, the Worlds Hairiest Caterpillar Limo Art Car

Calliope created by Gustine Castle is the worlds hairiest limo Art Car that's covered in florescent orange fur, lots-o-legs, long eyelashes and a set of lips on the front grill. She has two additional limos and is available for hire in the SF Bay Area. This is one of the first art cars I ever saw back in high school, so thank you Gustine for doing what you do:)

Auto-Morph Art Car - Car for the Tin Foil Hat Crowd

Via Coast to Coast
If you are into conspiracy theories and or walk around the house with a tin foil hat this car is for you. Inspired by Coast to Coast, Jared Nicholson of Charlotte, "brother in the Galactic Renaissance", from North Carolina is the creator of the Auto-Morph Art Car. This art car is made from a pattended organic compound he developed called "Skratch." which has the ability to conduct a magnetic field and can be used to make earth ships to spaceships, habitats and beyond. This material also has the potential for storing information and energy and the future applications he says are "mind blowing". Its a great looking car and the fins are a cross between Batman meets Poseidon meets King Arthur meets the Mafia in a dark alley in some chop shop in New York. Very nice work and I do hope one day you will get to build that space ship.

Toy Art Car - By Talented Kindergartners

Toy Art Car - By Talented Kindergartners
by sharna11

This Toy Art Car is brought to you by a group of Kindergartners who produced an amazing body of art work for their district art show. They took a plastic toy car and covered it with, more toys using silicone caulk by the looks of it. There are many more works like an Art Guitar and an Art Arrow. Great job, I cant wait to see what they do when they get their driving licences in a few years.

Disco Vespa - Chabling (I made that word up)

This Vespa is what I call "Chabling" a made up word for the coolest disco Vespa ever on the planet. At a moments notice you could hang that sucker from a ceiling and BAM!!!!, instant disco, rave, all nighter with the glow sticks and fur clothing. You can also just ride "Chabling" downtown at night and get the same effect. Photo came from somewhere on flickr sorry I can't remember where.

Vain Van by Emily Duffy - Art Car Covered in Bras?

Emily Duffy is the creator of the Vain Van, an art car covered in women's bras, hair rollers, mirrors, plastic fatty foods on the rear end and the "Four Saints of Beauty" painted on the doors. She also created the Bra Ball and the Mondrian Art Car, my very first blog entry on art car central. Emily is a regular at Art Car Fest and recently she was featured on an episode by the Smithsonian Channel called "America Wild and Wacky"

Emily Duffy created Vain Van as "Penance" for her time in the fashion industry that pushes a distorted view of how women should look. Now she is on a mission to undo the self hatred caused by the fashion industry and help women feel good about themselves through her car.
